Therapeutic riding is mounted horseback riding for the purpose of contributing positively to the cognitive, physical, emotional & social well-being of people with disabilities through the teaching of horsemanship skills. Benefits: strength, balance, flexibility, coordination, coping skills, social skills, self confidence. Summer Youth Vocational Leadership Equine Program HIRES 4 assistants (May-Aug. 32 hrs/wk) to help with youth coming for summer camp opportunities. 2 wks of training before camp. Learn personal responsibility, timeliness, service, communication, critical thinking & collaboration.
