The National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is April 7-13 and this year we have scheduled our annual Legacy House ROCC-a-Thon on Monument Circle for Thursday, April 11, 2019, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We will have 20 large wooden rocking chairs on the deck of the monument for celebrity rockers and others to sit and “ROCC” to raise awareness. It is an outdoor crime victim’s rights and resources awareness event in what is designed to be a Spring Festival Atmosphere. We are crossing our fingers for beautiful blue skies and mild breezes on the day of the event.
We will also have music, balloon twisters and special guests to go along with 15-20 local service providers who will be on hand with information about the rights and resources available to crime victims.
