July 11-15, 2022. The TALKS Identifying The Mirror In ME is an overnight camp for young ladies held at Camp PYOCA, Brownstown. The goal is to put these ladies on a path of excellence while understanding their purpose & potential. A camp environment removes day-to-day issues confronting these young ladies such as the stigma of keeping up with technology, dressing to impress, safety, nutrition & peer pressure while allowing time for intensive self-reflection. Ladies will address their fears, define their goals & discover their inner greatness through a series of targeted intervention activities. Nutrition, mental awareness/health, healing from past hurts, character development & developing a plan to prepare them for college/life readiness. Special classes include the 3E’s exercise, etiquette & excellence. High ropes challenge. Journaling. Arts & crafts, campfire.
