All girls face significant challenges & girls of color, in particular, face multiple barriers to success. We help girls explore & celebrate their strengths, voice, who they are & who they will become. Limit 100 girls.  Fun, hands-on activities, interaction with positive female role models & field trips. Four thematic weeks based on 1)Strong Week-healthy lifestyle habits, educating girls on physical, mental & social well-being, nutrition & cooking classes. 2)Smart Week-economic literacy, STEM, education & career exploration. Older girls create their own carnival business; the 6-11-year-olds use "Girl Bucks" to purchase goods & services.  3)Bold Week-body image & self-esteem. 4)Week 4-girls get ‘inspired’ by incorporating the previous lessons into their own lives. Girls showcase what they have learned & their talents to their families & peers at the Camp Talent Show. June 13-July 8 (no camp July 4), M-F 7:30a-5:30p.
