I would like to extend an invitation to the annual conference on the Learning Disabilities Association of Indiana. It is being held on November 3, 2017 at the Ritz Charles in Carmel, Indiana. Its title, Reach for Success, captures its focus: to help those students with learning and attention issues be more successful in the classroom and beyond. It provides a opportunity for teachers, along side other professionals and parents to learn how to help these struggling learners gain skills and strategies to come more successful.
This year Monica Gomez from the Frostig School and Robert Muller of the Roch Diagnostics Corporation are the two keynote speakers. There are also sixteen breakout sessions focusing on a variety of topics on learning disabilities and ADHD.
Because of the support we receive from the Governor’s Council for People with Disabilities and the Lilly Endowment, we are able to offer scholarships for teachers to attend. Also, parents of individuals with disabilities are able to attend at no cost.
I have attached a conference flyer to this email. Please pass on this information to your colleagues and the families that you serve; this help is greatly appreciated.
