Mark your calendars The Ross Foundation will be hosting our 3rd #OurYouthMatters Peace March June 30th at 12pm. Last year we had over 500kids and 200 parents attend. We will start on 38th and Franklin and end on 38th and Post.
The number of homicides is up 11 from last years mark in May. We’re on track to almost 200 murders this year. It’s time to come together.
This march is about creating a platform for youth that resides in underserved communities to have a voice and speak out on concerns and solutions when dealing with: gun-violence, beautification, relations with police department, parenting, and mental health and trauma. To add, at the end there will be youth expo vendor tables of all young entrepreneurs promoting their businesses. We welcome all community partners to participate for this is an unity event.
