GeoFest is a rock and mineral show featuring different vendors from all over the country selling wares for visitors to purchase. These include brilliant gems, giant geodes, incredible fossil specimens and more. Visitors can purchase loose minerals or gems, along with hand-crafted jewelry, beads and polished stones.
Throughout the three-day festival, visitors can also enjoy interactive activities, including jewelry making or creating their own pet rock. Families can explore Indiana’s ancient seas during “Paleozoic Scuba Diving,” where they’ll see how many creatures they can identify before their “air” runs out. Up in Cardboard Engineering, contribute to a cardboard cave, then visit the Frozen Reign gallery to help with “feeding time” for our mastodons in an Ice Age zoo.
