Would you consider becoming a Big Brother Big Sister (BBBS) mentor for one of our Burmese refugee children for a year?
On Saturday March 4 at 11:00 in the First Baptist of Indianapolis Youth Lounge at 86th and College Avenue, BBBS will share about their program and how we can help the Burmese children. Could you please reply to this email if you are interested.
BBBS has matched and helped over 9,000 matches over the years and does a great job providing events and activities throughout the year to help build relationships. BBBS staff will contact the parents monthly, train you, oversee the program and ensure a wonderful experience for you. Mentors can be individual or done as a couple.
I realize that while time is the greatest gift and it is also in short supply. We know that you are already doing so much and so if you cannot help we completely understand.
If you have questions or want to help, either reply to this email or contact Jay Geshay at jamesgesh[email protected] or 317-698-7419.
