Content, skills, and strategies from Dr. Desautels and her book, Connections Over Compliance. 4-part educational series combined with 3 Peer Learning sessions to support ongoing learning, connection and discussions outside of the live educational sessions. Youth Mental Health First Aid is a training program designed to teach individuals how to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health challenges in young people and how to provide initial help and support. This training aims to empower participants to intervene early and effectively when a young person may be experiencing a mental health crisis or developing a mental health disorder.
