MCCOY brings the community together to find innovative ways to address youth issues through open dialogue between youth workers, community advocates, young people, and many others. From small forums to full-scale symposia and events, we work to bring meaningful collaboration through partnerships around positive youth development.
MCCOY convenes community leaders and local area experts around the following initiatives:
Early Intervention & Prevention (EIP): helps vulnerable families resolve problems and avert crises through quality prevention services. EIP will improve health, safety, and academic outcomes, reduce the need for child welfare and juvenile justice involvement, and make wiser use of limited resources on public services.
Family Access Network (FAN): promotes healthy children, families and communities by increasing access, use and capacity of existing services through neighborhood-based collaborations and partnerships.
“Our Kids, Our Families, Our Communities”: monthly show on government channel TV-2 focused on raising awareness about services in our community and providing useful and practical information so that those facing challenges can get the support and assistance they need.
